passing of our beloved mon arch George VI and like mil lions of his humble subjects throughout the commonwealth we mourn bis death as a personal loss T us he was more than king He was more than ruler of our nation remote in the majesty of his office All that is royal and honorable in kingship he gave lo that title King George was a man respected honored and loved by his people for bis man hood He was the kind and sympa thetic father who through the most trying of times held the ideal of family love and af fection Through his personal example he strength to those who during the war years remained in bombtorn Britain at their posts of duty To this man loyally was not word was a way of life In his selfless pursuit of duty he sacrificed himself For this loyalty he assumed tasks beyond bis physical strength tasks which would have exceeded the endurance of even the most rug ged individual We pray God to forgive us our blindness that we as a nation could accept such service without
