The studio is staging a concert at Glen Abbey United Church on Friday, June 1. There will be performances by the MagicK orchestra, the miniMagicK orchestra and an adult ensemble comprised of students at the school. Nine members of the Oakville Symphony Orchestra ­ of which the studio founder, Klaudia Thibault, is a member ­ will support the ensemble. The concert begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free. Donations will be accepted to help defray the expense of the orchestra's trip to Oshawa on Saturday, June 16 to take part in a music festival at Parkwood National Historic Site. A reception will follow the concert.
