Exhibit a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald Mojo Music of Oakville is hosting a tribute to the Lady of Song as it celebrates Black History Month. An art exhibit, titled A Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, opens on Saturday, Feb. 18 and runs through the month. The work was created by GTA-artist Simone Frank. Fitzgerald has won 13 Grammy Awards, a National Medal of the Arts and a Kennedy Centre Honour for her lifetime work. The exhibit features a series of paintings and drawings that capture the different stages of the singer's career. Mojo Music is located at 430 Speers Rd. The opening reception runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Venue hours are Monday to Friday from noon to 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. For more information, visit www. simonefrank.com.
