New hospital p auditorium to bear CEO's name By David Lea OAKVILLE BEAVER STAFF Besides getting an annual salary of nearly half a million dollars, Halton Healthcare Services (HHS) president and CEO John Oliver will get an auditorium named after him in the new Oakville hospital. This was amongst the information released Tuesday, after the Ontario Hospital Association recommended its members make hospital executives' and CEOs' contracts available to the public online. As of Jan. 1, Ontario hospitals became subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, however, before such freedom-of-information requests could be made, many hospitals opted to release the information. "Halton Healthcare Services places tremendous value on being open and accountable to the communities we serve," reads a statement on the HHS website.
