If music has your child enchanted, then don't miss our Celebrate the Holidays Family Concert t taking place on Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 6:45-7:30 p.m. at our Central Branch, 120 Navy St. Children will love singing seasonal family songs with the awardwinning children's performer, Markus. Markus will get your kids on their feet, creating interactive and magical holiday moments to cherish with your little elves. This concert is for kids aged five years and up and requires an adult to attend. Tickets cost $5 and are available at all branches. For children who like to cook, register them soon for the Kids Cook: Holiday Food from Around the Globe program. Join the folks from Kids Cook for School as they teach your children about delicious holiday foods from around the world. Children will get to take home their creations. This program is for kids aged nine-12 years, costs $10 and takes place on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Central Branch. You must register through IRIS at www.oakville.ca using code 157011. For some engaging, crafty activities for children, drop in on our Seasonal Celebration taking place on Saturday, Dec. 10 at our branches. We are calling all kids and their families to bring their creativity to the library and join us for some family fun and crafts.
