Hornets back in action Saturday The Oakville intermediate AA Hornets hope a lengthy break from league play won't slow their momentum when they resume the Provincial Women's Hockey League season this weekend. The 2-0 Hornets will host the Ottawa Lady Senators Saturday at Joshua's Creek Arenas. The 4:30 p.m. start will be Oakville's first league game since the Hornets opened the season with wins over Nepean and Cambridge Sept. 23 and 24. The Hornets' hot start has come despite the fact that the club is one of the youngest teams in the PWHL. Only captain Melani Moylan and goaltender Laura Corcoran returned from last year's squad that went 9-19-3-5 and was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.
