Dodge Peewees record big win Georgetown s Ma Dodge ReMax recorded a big win over last week The score was an upset of sorts as had won two previous league games by wide margins Gary McNiven scored two in the first period to lead Georgetown offense McNiven also set the tone for the game with some clean aggressive checking The first goal was a nice team effort with an assist to Chris Goodhew however Flamboro tied the score soon after Georgetown came back a minute later when Ken Arm strong got the puck ahead to McNiven who made a smart play as he rounded the net and stuffed the puck for his second goal The hitting was heavy throughout the game as wingers Stephen Mike and Keith Hunt were busy giving and taking the hits Georgetown kept Flamboro off the sheet until the end of the first period when played a tough three schedule in four days last week but could add only one extra point to their standings for their forts On Wednesday evening were held to a 1 1 tie by the OakviIIe Rangers Fat work overtime in the third period due to a series of penalties which effectively neutralized the locals offensive efforts and denied the Hurricanes a victory In Georgetown on Friday the Hurricanes hosted league leading Barne and jumped to a lead in the first on goals by Hennerberry and Mike Cox with Sean assisting on both responded with a late marker in the opening frame then added three more
