THE OUTLOOK Obituary Ernie Forgrave Ernest Robert died peacefully at Milton District Hospital on Saturday May 19 He was 82 Mr Forgrave is probably most known for his work with Georgetown school boards He worked closely with three different school boards over a period of years He was a stationary engineer for the Provincial Paper Mill in Georgetown Mr Forgrave was also a trustee on the North Halton Board of Education between 1953 and 1960 When the North Halton Board dissolved he became secretary treasurer for the Georgetown District High School Board He then became the Business Manager for the County Board of Education in His office was referred to as the happy drop in centre Tom former Georgetown District High School teacher said His friendliness and service to the community is his legacy Mr said Friends were received at the J S Jones and Son Funeral Home in Georgetown on May and May Funeral services were held on May 22 at in the Interment Greenwood Cemetery In memory contributions same problem he said Both the Acton and Georgetown members worry about people going out of town to do their shopping he noted The members in Georgetown worry about people heading to Bramp ton and and While most of his work is done in law he has done other types of work in his field He has been a lawyer for about 10 years Mr Page became a lawyer because law something I ve always been in in In this year s election for chamber president Mr Page was up against one of last year s vicepresidents He said the two had agreed to stay on the board of directors no matter what the outcome of the election would be I really glad he staying as a director Mr Page said He is one of the few directors from an industry and gives the chamber more depth because of his in dustnal focus Mr Page added Although Mr Dolotwiez lost the election he still has a positive outlook on the chamber Hi said the chamber has a bright future Mr Dolotwiez said he was stay ing on the board because of his past experience as a vice president Mr Page said this is the se cond year in a row there has been an election and that indicates a healthy chamber One part of the election Mr Page would like to change is the oneyear term There should be a twoyear term he said We should be changing our by laws to allow for the twoyear term he added Mr Page however does not see himself running next year Two years is enough he said Pof
