Page THE HERALD Wednesday February 1990 Rabid fox By KAY WILSON Correspondent NORVALA rabid fox was spot ted by Wes Louth of Draper St on Jan While Wes was in his cabin at the back of the house by the Credit River he spotted a fox where he feeds the geese He finally went out to scare it off but it came toward him so he retreated to his cabin The fox chewed at both window sills and door before he disap peared and felt safe in ven turmg to the house where he call ed the animal control and police While they were checking the area out Bill Hunter to say he had been out for a walk and sighted a fox along the Credit River banks and later ir Ken Robinson s front yard when it gave Bill good reason for a fast retreat However the animal con trol spent three hours in the village going from east to wet along the river bank without spotting the fot He advised parents to alert their children and keep their pets inside and have them inocculated Couple move NOKVAL We are sorry to see that Hugh and
