ByMIKETURNER Herald Sport Editor The Summits went undefeated through four games to capture the Ontario Hockey Assoc a Hon AA Bantam championship crown on the weekend In the title game Sunday noon the Summits downed the Valley East Renegades to take the championship A consolation game saw the Georgetown M and M Pro Sports Bantams claim the brome medals wilha64wlnoverSt Thomas The tournament proved to be a showcase far some fine Bantam hockey talent and all the teams were evenly matched In fact the only game to be decided by more than two goals was the champion ship contest the Metro Toronto Hockey League champs beat Georgetown and Valley East In the round rob scries and led St Thomas to lock up first place and earn a berth n the final Valley East was second In round robin play with four championship medal Both series tied in GLBL Both the championship and the consolation series of the Georgetown Ladles Basketball League have been forced to a third and deciding game Last Wednesday at Centennial School the Mustangs took a decision over the Trojans to square their best of three championship aeries at one game apiece In the consolation round the Cougars outlasted the Caprlcoms to force their series to a deciding game The Mustangs were paced by the 20 points of Chung Kim as she con tributed 10 in each half At the mid way point the Mustangs were ahead Other scorers for the Mustangs were Lorraine Brown with Carol with seven Wendy Moore and Diane Gardner with six apiece Mel McCracken with four and Mariano Lott with two KrtstensenIrvine and Cor fine led the Trojans attack with 10 each while Pat chipped in with eight Anita and June Nicholson added six each Zelek and Alice Ogden had four apiece and Mary Kelly con tributed two In the consolation match up the Cougars enjoyed a 3426 halftime lead Boo worked well Inside for the Cougars and led their scoring with points Linda helped the Cougars cause with 14 The Mustangs back to their best or three champions with the
