grade 12 environmental science students and the grade biology students accompanied by P W went to the Ontario Science Centre rhe grade 12 students had a chemistry demonstration scheduled in the morning but due to technical difficulties it was cancelled At they were treated to an Interesting evolution film in the lecture halls As for the biology students they learned how to take their own hemoglobin counts and type their own blood It was very comical to watch the reactions of the students as they had to puncture their skin to get blood samples After lunch the grade 13 class had a very Informative lecture on genetic mutations The students found it quite amazing how such microscopic organisms as genes can alter fatally the charac teristics of human life All in all it was an
