Ignatieff will be attending a 6-8 p.m. event at the Oakville Power Boat Club (150 Water St.) where he will spend the evening listening to views and opin- ions on issues that matter to the people of Oakville. Im excited to have a chance to visit Oakville again, to continue the conversation of last summer, said Ignatieff in a press release. We are going to 20 ridings in 11 days, to talk to people about the Liberal vision for this country, and how we believe a Liberal MP would result in positive change for them, their families and their communi- ty. Ward 6 Councillor and federal Liberal candidate Max Khan will join Ignatieff as he meets approxi- mately 150 Oakville residents at the Saturday event, including local Liberals and other members of the community. As someone who has worked closely with this community for a number of years, I know that peo- ple in Oakville have clear ideas about the things that matter to this town, and are willing to stand up and do what it takes, to make change happen, said Khan.So Im really proud to have Michael coming back, to give people here another opportunity to talk to him about their concerns, and the changes they would like to see to help us all move forward.
