Tuesday night about six o'clock the dead body of Mr. Isaac Garrett, hostler McConnell's stable, Rocklyn was found lying therein. Coroner Albrey held an inquest on Wednesday. From evidence that Mr. Garrett, who had gone to look in the hay mow for his mits, had fallen through the trap door. Dr. MacLean who made the post mortem, said he must have fallen on his shoulder; the blood vessels of the spine were broken and this was the cause of death. He had only been missed 25 minutes. A verdict of accidental death was returned. Mr. Garrett came to this country from Yorkshire some 35 years ago, and was a well digger by trade. he was aged 63 years at the time of his death. - Mirror
