13 · OAKVILLE BEAVER Wednesday, July 22, 2009 DAVID RITCHIE / SPECIAL TO THE BEAVER FATAL CRASH: A 27-year-old Oakville man was killed when the black Honda he was driving rolled over, ejecting him in the process on Dorval Drive in the early morning hours on Saturday. Single-car crash kills driver An early morning crash on Saturday has claimed the life of a 27-year-old Oakville man. No one witnessed the fatal crash, said lead investigator Det.-Const. Andy Dennis of Halton Regional Police, so collision reconstruction officers remained at the Dorval and Leewood Drs. scene for more than six hours. "I haven't ruled out speed and alcohol as a factor," Dennis said. The 27-year-old was driving north on Dorval Dr. when he apparently lost control and hit the curb at about 3 a.m., Dennis said. His black Honda rolled over, ejecting him in the process. Police say he was not wearing a seat belt. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man's family has been notified, but did not want his name released. A post-mortem examination was conducted, though toxicology results may not be returned for weeks.
