Blakelock's Jordan Doherty, Loyola's Paulina Maher and Abbey Park's Connor Mabbott, Michael Trnkus and Brandon Hazineh were the other local athletes to claim an individual gold on the track. Doherty won the open boys' 100m ambulatory in 16.10 seconds, Maher earned gold in the open girls' 1,500m steeplechase (5:44.47), Mabbott took the junior boys' 300m hurdles title with a 44.19 time, Trnkus was the senior boys' 400m champion in 48.29 seconds, and Hazineh claimed the jun- ior boys' 3,000m crown with a time of 10:14.06. Also on the track, Loyola's junior girls' team of Marti Killeen, Olivia Butty, Taylor Brown and Megan Sutton won the 4x100m relay in 55.30 seconds. In field events, Oakville athletes also enjoyed success Friday. Oakville Trafalgar's Rachelle Cyrus won the midget girls' triple jump, White Oaks' Alexia Edwards was first in junior girls' shot put, White Oaks' Alan Stagg won the midget boys' high jump, Iroquois Ridge's Mason Federovich took top spot in midget boys' triple jump, Loyola's Carson Docherty won the junior boys' high jump, Aquinas' Eric Fram earned gold in senior boys' high jump, and Blakelock's Colin Liberty was first in senior boys' triple jump.
