The event will be at the Oakville Conference Centre. With more than 25 years experience, Morris flies Airbus 320s for Air Canada. He is also a flight school instructor, meteorologist, freelance journalist and author, and writes a monthly aviation column for enRoute, Air Canada's inflight magazine. Morris' book, From The Flight Deck -- Plane Talk and Sky Science, will form the basis for his remarks to the dinner audience. The book covers a broad range of flight-related topics, including the physics of flight, how airplanes work, what happens on the ground and in the air, and how pilots are trained. Blending facts, trivia and humour, Morris provides up-to-date, accurate and entertaining information about the science of aviation.
