SUDDEN DEATH - Yesterday forenoon when a very large number of people were on the street, while Mr. Edward Ard of Normanby was driving his team pst the Middaugh House on Lambton St., he was noticed to suddenly fall over in the wagon. He was taken out of the wagon and seated in a chair in the Middaugh House and a doctor summoned to his aid, but in a few moments after Jamieson's arrival Mr. Ard breathed his last. After he was dead the body of the deceased was carried into the Town Hall although the place had been rented by the members of Trinity Church for the day and a Bazaar was being held at the time. The family of the deceased were in town to attend the show. Mr. Ard was always a strong, active member of the Agricultural Society, an old settler and highly respected.--Review.
