According to Halton Regional police, the 52-year-old contractor, whose name isn't being released, had agreed to meet the man Saturday night to discuss payment for work that had already been done. Police said, the two met at a Royal Windsor Drive and Winston Churchill Boulevard location around 11 p.m. The business owner allegedly pulled out a knife and threatened the contractor, who then tried to flee, police said. Police said a third man stood in the contractor's way, and the contractor was attacked and stabbed several times in the head before he could free himself. The contractor needed 15 staples to close the wounds to his head, but is expected to recover. On Sunday night, Thanh Phuong Le, 42, of Mississauga was arrested. He faces three charges, including attempted murder and assault with a weapon. Police are still looking for the second man who is alleged to have stopped the contractor from fleeing the attack.
