Twenty-four of the students are 2007 Oakville high school graduates and four are university students. The May Court Club of Oakville raises and disperses funds primarily within the Oakville area to benefit seniors, the ill, young children, students and the needy. Its main source of funds is The Nearly New Shop at 200 Kerr St.The May Court also presents the Annual Festival of Trees at Oakville Place at Christmas and Arts and Artisans by the Lake in April at Appleby College. A fundraising dinner will also be held at Tony Roma's in Mississauga on Oct. 11 for the scholarship program.
