According to Paul Taylor, a cancer survivor and long-time Oakville teacher who leads the support group, the meeting will be of interest to anyone affected by cancer. For individuals who have undergone treatment for prostate cancer, that may mean encouraging healthy eating through Canada's Food Guide, where variety and moderation is important to help the body rehabilitate from treatment. It also means promoting more vegetables and fruit for extra antioxidants, a well as more with more than 15 years' experience. She currently works part-time at the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton and has a private practice called FOOD fore THOUGHT. One of her current projects is with the Arthritis Society of Ontario where she has developed a healthy eating and weight management program for individuals with osteoarthritis. Piotrowski has been featured on CH's News At Noon and Health Matters and has been a guest on Global TV's Body and Health series and CTS' Michael Coren Live. "There are several sources of nutrition advice just waiting to be `eaten up' and Pam tries to help individuals sort out what is credible and what is not.
