Also returning to join them in this beautiful work will be the Mississauga Choral Society. St. Matthew's is a magnificent building whose ambience and acoustics are ideally suited to sacred works such as this. Distinguished guest soloists will be: Charlene Pauls, Soprano, Wendy Foley, Mezzo Soprano, Keith Boldt, Tenor, and Andrew Tees, Baritone. City TV's Jennifer Valentyne will be broadcasting live from the restaurant from 7 - 9 a.m. Benefit concert for the Sudanese refugees Stand For Sudan is the theme of the Halton Wide Charity Concert that is taking place at Iroquois Ridge High School, Thursday Nov.16 at 7 p.m. The concert will feature music from Matthew Johnston, Crush Luther, Everlea and Shawn Butler, and will be held in the school's gymnasium. Tickets for the event are $10 with a valid Halton Student Card. All proceeds from the event will go to Canadian Aid for Southern Sudan, which is an NGO (non-governmental organization) that will be using the proceeds to develop new rehabilitation programs for Sudanese refugees fleeing from the genocide in Darfur, Sudan.
