"Having a Big Sister is like having another friend who‘s always there for you, when sometimes your friends from school aren‘t. I guess Sue‘s someone I can look up to." That may sound like a "tall order" but for Suzanne Sayer, being Randi‘s Big Sister for almost three years has been a fun and rewarding experience. Suzanne came to ‘Big Sistering‘ wanting to reach out to a child who needed a stable, caring relationship with an adult female. Randi lives with her Dad and Grandmother and her Dad felt she would benefit from havâ€" ing a younger, female influence in her life. They both have a great sense of humor and rumor has it that Suzanne has been on the receiving end of a number of practical jokes. There‘s no end to the variety of activiâ€" ties they enjoy together. Both enjoy swimming, biking, skating, tobogganâ€" ing and horseback riding. But quiet times and activities like doing crafts, sewing teddy bears or just going out for dinner provide lots of opportunity to talk â€" and, most important for Sue, to listen. the challenges of growing up.
