jso far as the allied powers were con- cerned if germany italy and japan had been allowed to continue unchecked in their bid for world conquest it is not too difficult to imagine how the world would be today v another campaign that in my opinion was justified was the retaking of the falkland islands and their dependen- cies here the argentinian government was the aggressor and no thinking per son can come to any other conclusion these islands had fof almost 150 years been british its inhabitants were of british stock and they were therefore vi british subjects the falkland islands had no desire to become argentinians and be ruled by a military dictatorship apart from the british governments de- sire to recapture their territory the financial of selfdetermination was at stake and on
