regard to the after effects it continued i am sick and tired of tak ing the insults lies and threats about keeping the job gener ally making life miserable for department heads my health is far more important to me at this time my happiness i wish to share with my family in the future would be dull and gloo my if 1 were to continue to work here under the existing conditions and so 1 take my leave tender my resignation herewith effective immediate ly mr cane charged that the deputyreeve had directed a slanderous and vicious attack against himself and other members of court personnel at a welfare committee meeting on monday june 10th he de scribed councillor wank as a vindictive person who based his decisions on personal feel ings rather than lor business reasons nothing gained prior to the reading of the letter of resignation reeve seott questioned the wish of the individual members in handling the matter he said he did not wish to be accused of withholding information if the council was desirous that it be made public both councillors ross deakin and hubert wank suggested that the letter should be regarded as confidential there is nothing to be gained at this point said
