was unexpected the animal believed to have been searching for food was stalking through the backyard of percy benson when the furious barking of tim a collie owned by the family next door is be lieved to have disturbed her and sent her running for cover the nearest appar ent opening was the ben sons rear cellar window without hesitation the wolf leaped through smashing the glass the jagged glass inflicted several wounds and the animal left a trail of blood as it hid under the fueloil tank upon discov ery of the animal a few minutes later mr benson called police with whoso aid the animal was
