candy he left to finish his packing for christ mas eve it takes a school concert to bring forth the entertaining talents of the children this year there was an unusual a- mount of variety it vas a musical show with lots of songs and carols in chorus duet and solo coupled with their singing and acting abil ities the children showed an ptitude for set construction that was worthy of special mention mrs barkey deserv es a great deal of credit for her excellent work with the children in producing such a fine concert we enjoyed every minute of it unless there is a sudden change in weather it does not look like a white christmas fter all however we did have enough snow to put us in the right spirit and help to peed up the preparations a little white or green i hope that this will be a
