saturday following a shut down for the installation of considerable new equipment which gives this popular eat ing spot finer accommodation for customers brick laying has commenced at the new high church are residing in oshawa william meyers and his daughter from switzerland are in this country mr meyers toe ing here on business and the couple visited in stouffville on saturday spending some time with cousins jacob meyers mrs win mcnair and mrs mary sellers mr meyers who is a native of switzerland is travelling to ottawa alberta and points in the usa but will toe back in stouftville on august 15th for the meyers re union which is being held in memorial park and is expect ed to draw more than a hun dred members of the clan and meir families members of stouffvilles public utilities commission have been checking hydro poles and the local water system for the past couple of weeks a number of the large main st poles have just about lived out their usefulness and must toe replaced who has received great distinction in the field of choral rrusic first for his organizing and con ducting of the kodak choral society then as director of cookes presbyterian church choir in toronto and during the past few years has organ ized and now is the conductor of the famed ambassador choir cyril redford directs his singers as robertson used to direct glasgows orpheus choir he will be accompanied by mrs redford at the piano during the arena meetings mrs redford touches the pi ano keys with graceful author ity she plays as pachmann used to play both of these great musicians will
