going on consisted of i cold plate of vegetable salad lettuce and tomato with either a slice of cold meat or some cold chicken which included bones as well as meat a dessert of fruit and a slice of club annual big dance and jamboree in the town park next wednesday night wrestlkig in arena tonight the stouflville wednesday whitchurch council meet ing in regular sessions on fri day evening gave final approv al to a bylaw governing office and employees hours accord ing to the regulations the town ship office will be open each day monday to saturday in clusive from i until 5 pm employees will work five days each week and shall receive a weeks holiday willi pay on completion of twelve months service and two weeks holi day after twentyfour months employment employees who are not absent from work for more than three days at any one time shall forfeit their weekly day off until such time is repaid employees absent more than three days shall be dealt with individually by council a taxi license renewal from ray carman just outside new market caused qtiile a flurry in council between one and two oclock in the morning a res olution proposed by councillor ps legge and deputyreeve big bill and were certainly going to try and save them this money if we can the hydro spokesman agre ed to revise the account in more simplified form and left with councils request for a more lenient
