stockings knit 100 years ago also worn by her children and still in good condition mrs russell- brown displayed a very artistic sample made in 17ss mrs brook- field had a shawl 145 years old and mrs frisby a valentine of 100 years mrs milner showed a pitcher she being the fifth generation to own it a cup and saucer from queen vic torias childhood dishes was exhibit ed by a visitor mrs ruth boadway had a silver spoon brought from england in 1s34 and shining like new these historical research meetings are considered the high lights of the years program credit is due mrs russelbrown who is the historical research convener and who is compiling the tweedsmuir book for our institute airs ruth boadway read a nice story telling us to use our good things instead of saving them to be divided
