year born north of ballantrae at the home of his parents mr and mrs geo irwin in 1ss5 the deceased moved to bloomington and llingwood where his father carried on the stone mason trade a well educated man mr irwin attended bloomington public school and markham high school before entering the teach ing profession the late mr irwin taught public school on the ninth concession of markham for three years after which he worked with his father for a number the deceased was very interested in repairing clocks and watches a trade that he carried on as a sideline his father passed away twentythree years ago and his lehman mother died in 1919 at the age of 91 the late mr irwin was a familiar sight on the main street of stouffville with his horse and buggy he usually came to town from his home in
