ilarwood and family had sunday dinner with mr and mrs robt ratcliff we would like to see more of the people from our community atten ding service in the local church on sundays at 915 am we are sorry to hear that mrs j greenfield is ill at her home with pneumonia we wish her a speedy recovery the people of our community are deeply interested in and con cerned for little jimmy rae who is so ill in the toronto sick child rens hospital we hear that mrs stan hastings is leaving soon for a trip to flor ida and points south we all join in wishing her a very happy holi day sunday dinner guests at the cedar grove school is to reap the benefit of the national gallery silk screen prints of canadian paintings it was decided at mon days meeting that the barren walls of the school house will be covered or at least ornamented by paintings on loan from the govern ment we had one frame offered but we need a few more please let the community club know if you could construct a simple frame no glass that could be used for this purpose our choral group brought back the shield again this year the group themselves were not too happy about the marks they attain ed which is as it should be but cedar grove is very proud of them all and we wish them our very best for next year the euchre series will begin again next monday evening which will be good news to all the enthusiasts choral group practice on
