miss joan lambe mr and mrs john taylor all of toronto were week end guests at the home of mr and mrs gerald allman the members of the north pickering branch canadian legion claremont are anxious to express their appreciation to the merchants and others who helped to make their special evening and draws a success the santa claus parade here on saturday was described as even better than the display last year betty ward jas phillips and walter pascoe were the three luckv winners of the turkeys given away the sarco co took the trophy for the best float fred lewis of altona was second and skvloft lodge third there were about a dozen floats in the parade and santa dispersed candies to more than five hundred eager children mrs jim norton won that iine rug the first prize lucky draw at
