of markham succumbs to heart ailment mrs eva j hare widow of david hare who predeceased her some nine years ago passed away at her home in markham on wed nesday nov 1st from a heart ailment following an illness of ttiree days duration mrs hare had been in poor health for several years and was in her 71st year funeral service was held in st andrews united church markham on saturday nov 4th conducted by revs thomas and berry of markham with inter ment in elmwood cemetery markham pallbearers were nep hews of the deceased surviving are two sons fred of toronto and elmer of markham and three daughters olive mrs c h rew of detroit mich vera mrs stewart milroy of markham and ruth of toronto also surviving are two sisters margaret mrs stewart v hall and amy mrs robert huckerby both of toronto born in birkerihead england mrs hares maiden name was eva j croft her parents being david henry croft and mary ann wright croft she came to canada when only ten years of age the deceased was a resident of the markham district for the past 45 frank warwick victim of street car accident passes in toronto struck by a street car as he was leaving work in toronto on tues day afternoon oct 31st frank warwick of john st thornhill succumbed to his injuries the following day in st josephs hos pital toronto mr warwick suff ered a severe skull fracture he was in his 19th year his wife the former pearl baker survives him they had no family three brothers also survive funeral services on saturday afternoon nov 4th were con ducted by rev l k sider of gormley at mr warwicks late residence in thornhill and in gormley united missionary church with interment in heise hill cemetery the late mr warwick was manager of the order and shipp ing dept of beockh brush fac- tory and had been employed has gone to the hospital in toronto we wish her a speedy recovery dickson hill two esteemed christian friends passed to their heavenly home last week mrs david hare of mount joy was laid away in elm- wood cemetery following a ser vice in markham united church conducted by pastor berry and rev mr thomas mr warwick of thornhill accident victim whose funeral service was at gormley united missionary church and interment at heise hill cemetery we extended sympathy to the members of these bereaved families mr and mrs k walker and robert joined with other mem bers of the johnson family at a birthday party in honour of her mother mrs w johnson of mount joy tran with atha news carolyn and hetty jean visited- over the weekend eileen and freda draper mr and mrs murray dunkeld and family attended the wedding of miss ruth milton of burtkon to mr ronald strong oshawa on saturday last mrs c morris and son of stouff ville visited miss ella whitson one day last week sorry miss whitson is not enjoying community sale held every saturday afternoon seems to be gaining in momentum as the weeks roll along last saturday the first touch of winter seemed to help the sale rather than hinder there were more cattle and calves than before but a few less pigs buyers were present from as far east as tren ton and as far west as ancaster reports from those who have been selling stock show satisfac tion as they are back week after week which is a good indication last week the livestock consist- ted of almost anything from pigs to pups indications are that there will be a large number of stocker cattle on hand for the next sale which will be nov 11th the next miscellaneous sale which includes furniture will be on the last saturday nov 25 and will be the last furniture sale till after the new year as
