stouffville to but one hit valentia went three up in the eighth when squires lashed a long ball over the left field fence for a groundrule double there was con siderable bantering over that hit as stouirville insisted that it went foul but the unmpires authority went unchanged stouirville col lected two runs in the last of the eighth to come within a threaten ing position of tieing the game valentia showed nothing in the ner on third home butch into breaking for throws the ball to bleak halfinnings for stouffville as they were one down big leaguer rapped cook stepped up first and out a
