pup candy which won the puppy class mrs f malcolm from stouff ville handled her great dane mona and went winners bitch this win finished monas champ ionship the niagara frontier kennel club held their show at port colborne this year on june 3 mr and mrs bob austin again exhibit ed candy and won the puppy class they also entered biscuit a red cocker who went third in open dogs mr don fitzgerald showed his black cocker which was placed first in dogs bred by the exhibitor mr fitzgerald also handled a dolerman pinscher at the large show in quebec city this dog went best of breed and was also placed in the working group as for the united states shows the unionville dog owners brought back the rewards mrs olive holland took her irish setter pup hollands wallaby ginger to the morris and essex show in new jersey ginger won the puppy class over five other entries mrs holland showed gingfer again the next day at the plainfield specialty show and was placed third mrs mildred hopkins handled her great dane graf danes hurricane at plainfield which was also a speciality show for danes a large entry of 101 great danes were shown hurry was placed first in the open harlequins over six other dogs which was a great win for mrs hopkins and hurrys new owner we are proud of these two success ful dog exhibitors and hope that mr bazil baber mr r b brown mr and mrs grant mor- ley assisted
