mrs robert irwin of stouffville were conducted by rev douglas davis on friday afternoon may 19th from oneills parlours interment being made in the plot in stouffville cemetery the pall bearers were joseph mertens william henry connor e r sin clair stanley mitchell gordon birkett and mervyn watts mrs irwin had suffered an attack of influenza and was improving but succumbed to heart failure in her home on albert st on tuesday afternoon in her 7cth year she was born on the tenth concession of markham on what was later known as the robert spofford farm her maiden name was frances lucinda hodgson her parents being thomas hodg son and mary fields hodgson following her marriage to robert irwin the couple lived for a time south of stouffville then moved to the property east of ringwood where they farmed for many years air irwin was a workman on the townline road many years some years ago he passed on and after selling the farm mrs irwin bought her present home on albert st directly north of the gold fish supply property the late mrs irwin and her husband attended stouffville united church mrs henry grice also of albert st stouffville is the only surviving sister a brother and a sister having predeceased mrs irwin also surviving are a niece mrs geo maye of good wood and a nephew clarence staf ford aiso of this district horses marooned in a hay stack near morris man are seen in this
