chinson tenth street south the many friends of miss audrey bell will be pleased to learn that audrey has been released from the brierbush hospital where she was a patient for a short time she is mrs thos hobbs has returned again home with her dad mr bert home from toronto after spending bell mill street slowly improving a week with mrs r holden whose husband died as the result of a car mr and mrs robt woodcock 0 markham village were both sent to hospital on saturday night last following a car collision as they were proceeding to oshawa for the hockey final there fortunately their injuries were not serious and the couple were allowed to proceed home feeling quite severely shook up and of course disappointed wsimam h tool william h tool of st thomas retired cnrwabash bridge and building supervisor died sunday night last in memorial hospital after a long illness he was in his toth year born at brougham he was a son of the late mr and mrs jacob h tool he began his 38 years of railroad service with the grand trunk railway on june 6 1898 and rose to the rank of supervisor at auamfele in 1909 he was for 10 years supervisor of the old north ern division and came to stthomas in a supervisory capacity in 1920 for 16 years he was bridge and building supervisor with the buf falo division of the wabash and local division of the cnr retir ing july 25 1936 surviving are a son william b of windsor a daughter helen tool at home two sisters mrs effle coulter and mrs h d rae both of british columbia the body rested at the l b sifton funeral home where service was conducted by college a cappella choir of mishawaka indiana appearing on monday april 10 at 8 pm at united mis sionary church prof hallman is a graduate of westminster choir college and willamette university and is well known in religious music circles previous to his posi tion as head of the music depart ment at bethel college he had been the director of various music groups on the west coast his choir while he was at cascade college became quite famous singing two concerts at the san francisco ex- hibition the bethel choir has gained its popularity and reputa tion on the basis of artistic per formance
