council swings into action at first meeting over 30 people have been charged with the theft of christ mas trees in whitchurch township according to the police report sub mitted to whitchurch council lloyd grove with mr bruce mclean at the piano luncheon was served by the hostess thus concluding a very pleasant and profitable evening the next meet ing of the forum will be held at the home of mr and mrs fred wicks jr on monday evening next jan 17 miss helen grove spent the new year holiday at the home of her parents mr and mrs louis grove we are glad to report that lloyd grove who suffered a severe cut in the leg while skating is pro gressing satisfactorily after having been confined to the house for the past two weeks mr and mrs robert c johnston of montreal were now year guests at the home of mr and mrs herb thomas mr and mrs ed terryberry accompanied by mrs wurts spent christmas in detroit the guests of mr and mrs ronald overy
