oregon the engineering firm of james proctor redfern will submit estimates to the village of rich mond hill next week on the cost of sewer system in that town this is the firm which provided the figures for the town of uxbridge and on which work has not been started because tenders were too higi over the engineers estimate the actual cost to a household for a real sewer will be 30 to 40 per year to the tax r bill of a property owner possessing a residence on a 60 foot lot this figure of course is very general but it gives an idea of what to expect when you talk about installing a sewerage system the estimates to be given richmond hill will be awaited with interest since stouffville is in need of a similar system but fears the cost one of the events at the elmira old boys reunion was the open ing of a new 40000 municipal swimming pool elmira is a town in the kitchenerwaterloo district much like stouffville and having built a pool for the kiddies and other residents at so great a cost it would be interesting to know how the matter is financed since we hear a great deal about a pool in this town even though elmira is about twice the size of stouffville its system of financing a 40000 amusement venture and the type of pool built would be of interest to local persons delving into a similar problem here now do we hear that a car load of citizens are off for the kitchener district mayfair restaurant monday 8 am thru friday 11 pm saturday 8 am 12 pm lard 20 lb pails pure home kettle rendered 390 mail orders filled promptly on receipt of money order freight
