presbyterian church markham and st james stouff ville mr wasson led a committee which investigated complaints from the congregation there is nothing against his character mr wasson continued you couldnt put your finger on one specific thing mr larson refused to comment on the resignation other than to say that it was incorrect to say he was from the us as mr wasson had been quoted we feel he bodies of the presbyterian church in canada mr larson born in denmark admitted he bad studied in the us before his 11 months pastorate at markham he had been three-and- onehalf years at madoc the minister explained his resig nation was not effective for a month and he probably would explain is to his congregation before then mr wasson explained a commit tee of counsel and reference had taken tip mr larsons case last may and mr larson didnt keep an agreement with the committee xow the congregation comes along and says whats to be done about it and it comes before the pres bytery mr wasson added that the com mittee had felt in may that the matter was settled and the con gregation had felt in it was settled we felt mr larson was under a moral obligation and he didnt keep it lm freeman who headed a committee from the congregations to protest against mr larsons con tinuing in the charge said im friendly to mr larson but it was for the benefit of the congregation that his resignation
