sister in strathroy mrs furry of niagara falls mother of mrs harry boose of claremont celebrated her 92nd birthday on wednesday aug 13th j mrs furry has 42 great grandchil dren and one great great grand child mrs robt bryan of aurora formerly of claremont visited last week at the home of miss s e evans mr and mrs wm palmer visited on sunday at the home of her sister mr and mrs chas elliott of bobcaygeon word has been received in the village of the death of mrs todd a resident in the states and the former sarah wagg sister of mr nelson wagg deceased was the daughter of the late mr and mrs geo wagg and mother of biliie wagg who made her home here for some time we extend congratulations to miss megan beare daughter of mr and mrs earl beare on passing her upper school examinations with honors megan was a student at port perry high school away just one year prior to their golden wedding anniversary the couple lived for a few years at greenwood for nearly forty years were residents of claremont the late mr gleeson was employed at graham bros prominent 9th con cession farmers in addition to two oroihers the deceased is survived by two daugh ters mrs fred evans claremont and mrs m j of brook- lin visited on sundav with mr and mrs w p jones mrs sarah white a lifelong resident of brooklin district mrs sarah elizabeth olver white was buried last week while visiting two of her sons in ottawa she suffered a stroke and died sun day three weeks later born at ashburn on october 12 1861 she married william white in brooklin at the age of 23 and lived on a farm near that community until the death of her husband in 1931 since that time she has lived with her sister miss a w olver brooklin she is survived by four sons claptqn and russell of ottawa ralph of stratford and gordon of
