bought last year after my return from overseas 1 have a wife and family and invested all my savings in this house i intend to get my home this summer by any means this man never left canada and he can still remain in my home i what can i do i a frankly there is very little you can do the present regulations were in effect when you pur chased this house and you were quite aware that you would be unable to give the tenants notice you must re- member that there are many veterans in rented ae commoda- tion who would be without homes if this order was chang- ed at the present time it is o never a good idea to take the law in your own hands and if you plan to do this naturally you must lie prepared to suffer postponed auction fully accredited registered and tractor new case tlireshiiik high grade machine farm stock implements jkrskv cattle milking machine the property of randall page bayles rl locust hill paul well- man r2 claremont the consequences q- the enc losed wrapping is from a half pound package of teai which bears a price of sue the tea was sold for 45c i know the price of tea has gone up but i was under the impression that the new price would be marked on the package am 1 right i a- the price of tea was increased 10c per b the correct price for the tea you bought is 43c for at half a lb and it would seem that the manufacturers are still j using their old packages many manufacturers and retailers have large supplies of such i packages and with the serious shortage of paper it would be very wasteful to throw themj away however it would seem to be a better idea to write the new price on the package to save confusion i am a regular customer at a butcher shop and last weekend i paid 2 for a three lb rolled rib roast and 42c for a half a lb of bacon are these prices right a it is difficult to give the exact ceiling price without knowing q- the grade of meat you puri for more tender- lighter more uni form pastry use oropbly flour chased we can tell you how ever that the ceiling price for prime red beef best quality is 33c a lb and for the best quali ty fancy side bacon in pack ages is 5c a lb the price you paid would certainly seem to be over the ceiling and as you gave us the name and address of the butcher we will have his prices checked at once please explain what steps should be taken when applying to the court of rental appeals under the new regulation to gain possession of a house pur chased in 1915 a the regulations are quite lengthy in order that you may have all the details correct we have sent you a copy of the order we do not want to attempt to explain in such limited space as it would mean confusion to those who did not understand all details 1 mile lots 33 and 34 rear con 1 vaugha x towxshi 1 west of thornliill and
