transaction and produced a cancelled cheque in court for 9 750 that had been made out by hodgson to the accused and cashed by the accused on may 21 miss margaret wallace of the claremont branch of the canadian bank of commerce informed the court that the accused had endorsed the cheque in question and had cash ed it on may 21 gordon hodgson who purchased the hens from flowers informed the court that he had made the first cheque out to the accused for 9750 on may 20 and the second one on june 10 to mr roy for 18260 he identified the cheques in court the court agreed to hear the evi dence of
