of mr thomas myers a former resident of almira will be sorry to learn he passed away friday august 13th at his late home at zephyr in his s2nd year avhen a lad thos myers came to canada from yorkshire england he was a blacksmith by trade he first worked his trade itt this country in the vicinity of oshawa a few years later he started a business of his own in almira he married elva lehiwan daugh ter of the late mr and mrs s b lehman almira and to them were born three sons clarence benson and preston mr and mrs myers moved to zephyr in 1902 and ire carried on the blacksmith business there until two years ago when he- retired clarence and preston paid the su preme sacrifice in the world war and mrs myers predeceased her hus band in may 194 2 surviving are his son benson a brother robert of
