home of mr albert hoover it was mr hoovers birth day also that of mrs jacob meyer of stouffville and mr peter nighs ander altona all three were pre sent train tosses truck into field murray smith is son of mr and mrs amos smith mt albert and nephew of everton and arthur smith and george hammett mt albert miller were seriously injur ed in a level crossing crash on the cxr main line at mount albert last thursday hammetts truck with smith driving was struck by a fast southbound flyer and tossed in to a nearby field the crash occurred on the 8th concession half a mile south of the station there
