ontario farm buttermakers asked to keep within the ration butter has taken its place with tea coffee and sugar on the list of rationed foods eight ounces or half a pound of butter will be the indi vidual weekly allowance for all hol ders of ration cards and the brown coupons marked spare c will be used for purchases of butter unlike the coupons used for sugar tea and coffee the butter coupons will ex pire on a definite date farmers who make their own but ter- for use at home must keep within the ration and must jietach coupons from their books and for ward them monthly to the nearest rationing office if dairy butter is sold by farmers to neighbors or on the local market the farmer must collect coupons from his customers and must for ward them each month to the local rationing office all farmers who make butter on the farm must register with the nearest local ration office as pro ducers of butter before jan 31st the bright side of butter ration ing for dairy farmers is the news that the subsidy now being paid onj all cream delivered to creameries for butter will be increased from six to ten cents a pound butterfat this tencent subsidy will remainin effect till april durling passed away at her home five miles south of vernon michigan last wednesday after a years illness her condition be came serious about three weeks ago mr and mrs delos graham reached his sisters home from here just af ter she passed away on wednesday mrs durling was born at mussel- mans lake ont may 25th 1875 the daughter of frederick and mar garet graham she had resided in shiawassee county
