wilton and leslie had dinner with mr and airs allan meyer mr and mis eli lehman and giace spent fiiday in toronto mrs albeit draper visited mr and tmis carruthers on thrsday atha school concert on friday december 18th see coming events column mr and mrs featherston and daughter were in toronto on friday to see santa claus several of our people took in the pot luck supper under auspices of the altona institute took in is right isnt it miss vera sellers spent a day re cently with mr and mrs fed draper a most delightful event of the recent season here was held at the home of mrs lou hoover whence two popular young misses from this home who were recently married were honored by the community folk with a big double shower of mlscelleneous -giftsk- mrs lloyd turnbull the former audrey hoover and mrs kenneth walters the former lois hoover the happy brides were most appreciative of the fine gesture made by their admirers here the evening was spent in games followed by a dainty lunch at which the brides cake was cut the chivaree band supplied the music and the customary noise that goes with these joyous occasions ghange of management owing to having received my call for military
