england was re ported missing sergeant robson a son of mr and mrs james robson of vernon- tille ontario was living at ross r wintersteins when he enlisted in june 1940 he trained in toronto montreal fingal and rockcilff just when he was about to leave foroverseas early in 1941 he was stricken with appendicitis and had to remain behind for several months a few weeks ago sergt robson j along with several other air men was pictured in the toronto evening papers these canadian airmen took part in devastating raids over germany france and norway only a fow weeks ago sergt rob son had a narrow escape he along with the other members of the crew were justentering anew wellington bomber to take it up for a- test jwhen some one called there was a message for rolbson at the mess he i ran back and the rest of the crew decided to go up without- him what happened the censor did not permit to be known but at lonoe sergt rob- sonwas granted leave and ina sub sequent letter stated that he had ibeen linked up with a new crew toronto papers reported that a pilot officer lefurgey and sergt allan robertson had been killed iltecent news despatches before this mentioned that pilot officer le
