one special meeting held articles knit sewn and donated during this period were 103 quilts two wool blankets 4 girlsskirts s sweaters 12 slips s boys suits 19 dresses and numerous other articles of cloth ing new and used with 11 complete layettes 349 pairs soldieis socks 45 returned sweaters 19 scarfs 33 pairs mitts and other knitted articles 42 boxes wore packed and sent to our local soldier boys valued at- 6934 to the navy league we sent goods valu ed at 3530 with the remainder be ing sent to the salvation army at toronto valued at 38984 we raised through donations and other enterprises a total of 4s653 and our total expenses were 3s994 leaving a balance on hand of 9669 the new officers for 1942 are president mrslloyd wagg secy mrs jack todd treasurer mrs g stewart vice president mrs
