president mr a d bruce who is now able to carry on his duties again at the head of the successful organization mr and mrs cephns cooper and his aged mother mrs frank cooper were in town on sunday for ceme tery decoration day over 80 years old mrs cooper enjoys a visit to the place of her childhood she is a sister of mr art yake and for years after her marriage to the late frank cooper the family resided at the corner of 10th and main street where john castle lives unquestionably the two oldest brothers to be seen in attendance at the decoration service on sunday afternoon at the cemetery were messrs jacob and ellas hoover the former being 85 years of age and his brother hut three years his junior the tribune encountered them trip ping along enjoying a brief visit to gether ere they departed for their respective homes on sunday june 15th mr isaac boadway our esteemed west end citizen reached his 83rd birthday and the following day he celebrated the event in fitting style and in his accustomed manner mr and mrs barkcy had as their guests rev lewis burkholder and mr amos burkholder of markham township mr and mrs carl boadway and mr and mrs lambert malloy it is inter esting to note that rev lewis burk holder reached his 66th birthday when mr boadway became s3 and that these old friends have cele brated their natal days in this man ner together for many years mr roadway is
